Anomaly Watch

What this is

Anomaly Watch is a per-cycle library of today's notably strong tropospheric ducting and refraction regions — evaporation, surface and elevated ducts, plus superrefraction and subrefraction — deterministically detected from the same NOAA GFS atmosphere the Explorer computes against, and scoped to COCOM and numbered-fleet areas of responsibility. Each entry states the real number and threshold that got it flagged. This is an educational teaching aid, not an operational product — for real decisions, use your command's authoritative METOC sources.
