Tor and onion services

Our Tor Learning Lab is a website on the dark web. It has a .onion address and is reached through the Tor network rather than the ordinary public web. Chrome, Safari, Edge, and other standard browsers cannot open it directly; use Tor Browser and the complete address below.

HOW TO ACCESS THE LAB

Three steps

  1. 1
    Download Tor Browser

Get it from the official Tor Project, then install it like any other browser.

Download from the Tor Project ↗
  2. 2
    Open Tor Browser and connect

Launch Tor Browser, select Connect, and wait until its browser window opens. That window is your connection to the Tor network.

  3. 3
    Open our complete .onion address

Copy the address below into the Tor Browser address bar and press Enter. If this page is already open inside Tor Browser, you can select the link.

Open the Tor Learning Lab →
OUR .ONION ADDRESSinformedas6hvvjdg5ybile7uajtd4pooof7xuzbpwodmzvfcsgb3cyd.onion

Use the entire address exactly as written. A normal web browser may show an error; that does not mean the learning site is offline.

What Tor Browser does

It sends the request through Tor, finds the onion service without ordinary DNS, and builds a protected route to it. The lessons explain each part.

What you will learn

Start with the basics, then explore relays, circuits, onion addresses, cryptography, legitimate uses, and the limits of Tor privacy.
